How to download Instagram stories
To download Instagram stories, copy the Story link, paste it above and press Download. A profile link works too: iGram then lists all the stories the account has live.

Copy the Story link
Open the Story in Instagram, tap the three dots (⋯ on iPhone, ⋮ on Android) and choose Copy link. A Story link has /stories/ and the username in it: instagram.com/stories/username/… For all current stories of an account, copy its profile link, instagram.com/username, instead.

Paste it and press Download
Put the link into the field at the top of the page: the Paste button does it in one tap. Then press Download.

Press Download under it. A profile link gives each current story its own button, and you save them one by one.

Your own story or someone else's
Your own story doesn't need a downloader: open it in Instagram, tap the three dots and choose Save. If saving to the archive is on, Instagram also keeps every story you post.
Someone else's story has no Save button. A screenshot or screen recording captures your screen, while an Instagram story saver like iGram gives you the photo or video file the author uploaded.

What the Instagram story downloader can't save
iGram sees Instagram the way a visitor without an account does: what that visitor can't open, iGram can't either.
- Private accounts. A closed profile doesn't open, even if you follow it.
- Stories older than 24 hours. An expired story survives only in a highlight, and the Instagram highlight downloader saves those.
- Deleted stories. Once the author deletes a story, its link stops working.

Is it safe to download Instagram stories anonymously?
Anyone who opens a story from their own account lands in its viewers list: the author swipes up on the story and sees each username, as Instagram's help center explains. iGram fetches the story without an account, so nobody is added to that list, and Instagram sends the author no alert about downloads.
iGram never asks for your Instagram password and doesn't keep the links you paste or the files you save, as the privacy policy describes.
